Why Weightlifting?

Our weightlifting classes focus on developing the skills of the Olympic lifts, the Clean, Snatch and Jerks.  With experienced coaching you will learn how to move more efficiently and how to generate power safely, helping you improve your strength, speed and confidence with a barbell.

Technical Coaching

Weightlifting is highly technical and benefits from detailed coaching.  Each of the Olympic lifts is broken down to help you understand proper positioning and timing.  Better barbell technique improves efficiency during CrossFit workouts and allows you to move heavier loads with more confidence. 


Strength Development

Olympic lifts train the body to produce force quickly and efficiently. Regular barbell training develops full body strength which leads to overall improved athletic performance.
